What is a disciple?
Christ the King Fellowship exists to glorify God by making disciples who make disciples. Jesus called disciples who would believe and act in ways that show and tell that Jesus is King and His Kingdom has come. That calling continues today. Like an apprentice who is shaped and formed by the words, values, character and identity of their master, we seek to live, believe and speak in the ways of the Kingdom of God that Jesus brought from heaven to earth. A disciple is someone whose identity, actions and purpose have been and continue to be transformed by the love of Jesus Christ, by faith in His works and obedience to His word. Will you be a disciple of Jesus?
All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
